Locations in Lanzarote

The island of Lanzarote is part of the province of Las Palmas and its capital is Arrecife. This is the third most populated island of the Canary Islands after Tenerife and Gran Canaria, as well as being the fourth largest island of the Canary archipelago.

In Lanzarote you can also find the Timanfaya National Park, located in the center-southwest of the island, one of the biggest tourist attractions that Lanzarote has. Since 1993 it is part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
